IMPACT WEEK SHILLONG 2024

In an inspiring week-long journey, we revisited the region of Meghalaya and made our way to Shillong, where we brought together local and global change-makers to tackle its most pressing challenges.

Overview

Impact Week Shillong was held from the 4th until the 11th of July, in partnership with PRIME Hub and Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU). We brought together 5 Senior Coaches, 22 Local and 7 International Coaches, 15 Experts, 20 Volunteers and 100 students from 15 universities across Meghalaya. The event aimed to address local challenges through the Design Thinking Challenge,  while contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Tracks

The workshop covered five critical tracks:

1. Waste Management

2. Tourism

3. Agriculture

4. Transportation

5. Youth Unemployment

Participants developed innovative solutions aligned with the local context and guided by experts and coaches.
