Ghana, Africa’s second-largest economy, is struggling with growing social and regional inequality, exacerbated by its dependence on a few export products such as cocoa and gold. On the other hand, Ghana has a huge number of young people with an enormous willingness and motivation to change things coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit and English as the main language which together provide a lot of potential for innovation and change. The Impact Week in Ghana at Heritage Christian University College (HCC). This second event at this uni was even bigger and more impactful than in 2022, bringing together 140 students, 23 local Junior Coaches, 19 international Junior Coaches, 10 volunteers, and 1 Senior Trainee to tackle 21 pressing problems.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Heritage Christian University College (HCC) and all participants for their commitment to making this event a success.

“Impact Week 2023 in Ghana was a game-changer, not just for the participants but also for me as a junior coach. The experience inspired me to take on the challenges we explored and turn them into real-world impact through the creation of my NGO “Crimson Liberation Hub”.
By empowering young leaders to think creatively and act boldly, Impact Week is truly making a difference in Ghana, driving us toward sustainable solutions that address pressing social issues.“
“Participating in Ghana Impact Week 2023 at HCC was an incredible experience that opened my eyes to the power of collective action. The event’s diverse range of speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities helped me connect the dots between my passion for social impact and the needs of the region. Impact Week is making a difference in the region by:
– Providing a platform for marginalized voices to be heard
– Facilitating meaningful connections between stakeholders
– Showcasing innovative solutions to address pressing social and environmental challenges
– Inspiring a new generation of leaders to take action
For me, Impact Week was more than just an event – it was a call to action. It reminded me that even small actions can collectively lead to significant positive change. I’m excited to see the continued impact of this initiative in the years to come.“
